Personal protection mask The invention relates to a personal protective mask that includes a mask body having an expandable section that is placed between the upper and lower ends of the mask. An adhesive material is placed on the inner surface of the mask along the outer periphery. Said adhesive material comprises a skin-safe adhesive to create an airtight seal between the mask and the user’s face. The mask includes a nose clip, a sweatband and at least a headband. The mask is constructed in accordance with N95 standards, and the expandable section transits between a contracted and expanded state, to adjust to the movements of the wearer’s jaw. Insulation apparatus The invention relates to an isolation apparatus for the transport of a patient who is potentially infectious, who has been subject to chemicals or biological agents. The invention comprises a transparent or semi-transparent tubular enclosure, having two opposite ends. A pair of end walls are secured to each of the two opposite ends of this tubular enclosure. At least one semi-rigid support band extends around a portion of the outer periphery of the tubular enclosure. A base mat assembly, comprising at least a first flexible flat sheet having an upper side and a lower side, which is also part of the invention. The upper side of this first flat sheet is secured to the tubular enclosure, and the underside of this sheet is secured to a reinforcing strap. Each of these reinforcements have lateral ends, and the lateral ends of these straps are formed by loops that serve as handles, through which people can grasp the isolation apparatus and transport the patient to another site for medical attention.
